How to install

ZFX Tools is an application combining a number of useful functions. It includes a recorder that makes it easy to capture your instrument, a sound-coordinated rhythm machine that gives you a virtual drummer and bassist, an editor with an intuitive mouse-based interface, a librarian function for managing patches, and a precision tuner. In addition, a search function lets you download the latest patches or rhythms and access a vast assortment of preset patches and rhythm patterns.

Please follow the instructions on the "Readme.pdf" file in the downloaded zip file.

How to upgrade

Following the instructions on the "Readme.pdf" file, please perform an overwrite installation.
Even after upgrading the software, all user created patches still remain.

Unzipped the downloaded files and perform the import function for "Patch Group" from the Librarian of the ZFX Tools.

Rock/Punk(33):Added the patch group of the basic rock guitar sounds from rock'n roll to punk music including the exciting patches with special effects.
pop/Country/Surf(35):Patch group featuring standard guitar sounds for pops, country music, surf-music, and also artist sounds simulate the masterpieces of The Ventures and Albert Lee.
Richie Kotzen(38):Patch group designed by a famous guitarist Richie Kotzen. You can emulate a variety of his guitar sounds ranging from rock, metal, hard rock, blues, funk, jazz and pops.
Hard Rock/Metal Artists(24):Patch group that simulated ''HR/HM Artist'' sounds such as Zakk Wylde, Dimebag Darrell, Michael Amott, John Petrucci, Kiko Loureiro, Kurt Cobain, Slash.
Rock Artists(27):Patch group that simulated "Rock Artist" sounds such as U2, Sex Pistols, Gary Moore, Santana, T-Rex, Pink Froyd, Eric Johnson.

Unzipped the downloaded files and perform the import function for "Rhythm" in the File menu of the ZFX Tools.
Standard[Long](10)：Long rhythm patterns programmed popular cord progressions in Blues, Rock, Funk, Pops.

A Tool Set consists of effect patch, rhythm pattern and audio tracks for demonstration. Unzipped the downloaded files and perform the import function for "Tool Set" in the File menu of the ZFX Tools.
