Smart Media does not work.
Please clean up its metallic contact area by soft and dry cloth. Most of trouble will be solved. If you want to use the Smart Media that was used by any Digital Camera or other electric devise, please format it by 707II/708.
What is intended purpose of Smart Media for 707II & 708II?
Purpose of Smart Media is to expand memory for sampler function and to save patch libraries. Usable Smart Media size is 16MB to 128 MB.
How long its sampler function can record the sound.
It depends on the size of Smart Media. Please refer the list below.

Is it possible to use recorded data on the Smart Media, by using sampler function, for computer application?
Yes, it's possible. Please use the dedicated software "Sample File Converter" which is available from the DOWNLOAD > Software > 707II/708II page.
When I store WAV/AIFF data to the SmartMedia by computer, is it possible to use that data for the sampler function of the 707-II/708II?

Is it possible to use Rhythm and Sampler function simultaneously?
No, it is not possible. Please use Rhythm or Sampler function alternatively.
Can input signal be mixed with AUX IN signal?
No, they are not able to be mixed. Please select Input or AUX IN alternatively by Input Select.
Does drive module of the 707II / 708II use analog circuit or digital processing.
The drive module of the 707II / 708II uses Zoom's original and unique modeling technology so called VAMS (Variable Architecture Modeling System). VAMS has warm analog feeling and digital flexibility on hand, since it combines advantages for both analog and digital technology.
Where can I purchase SmartMedia for 707II / 708II?
SmartMedia is a general memory card for digital cameras. You can purchase it at computer shops. You may also able to find some net-stores. If you cannot find it, please ask Zoom distributor in your country.
When I try to format a card, the indication "WP ERR" appears and the formatting process does not go ahead.
The SmartMedia card has a write-protect sticker attached. Remove the sticker and try again.
When I set the sampler function to ON, the MOD/REV module effects no longer work.
Because the sampler mode makes intensive use of DSP resources, the effects of the MOD and REV modules cannot be used at the same time. These modules are therefore temporarily disabled when using the sampler function.
