Yes. the F8 can record onto two SD cards at once. Please refer to 23 page of the Operation Manual for set up.
No, the F8 doesn't support continuous recording to two SD cards, but during mirroring recording, when one SD card was full, the recording goes on to another SD card.
The F8 supports both of Poly WAV and Mono/Stereo WAV formats, and two SD cards can be set to different recording file formats. The settings WAV and MP3 in recording file format for two SD cards for example.

The F8 supports batteries in 9-16V with HIROSE connector.
The F8 doesn't have power save function. Please check battery reaming frequently, and please change to new batteries as soon as possible when the battery remaining was in red in the display.
Please use alkaline batteries, Nickel-Metal Hydride (NiMH) batteries, or lithium dry cell, and please set up "Power Source" correctly when you change the type of batteries.
Yes you can. By setting up Pre Record function, you can record up to six seconds before you press the record button.
