Can I record onto two SD cards simultaneously like mirroring?

Yes. the F8 can record onto two SD cards at once. Please refer to 23 page of the Operation Manual for set up.

Can I record to two SD cards continuously?

No, the F8 doesn't support continuous recording to two SD cards, but during mirroring recording, when one SD card was full, the recording goes on to another SD card.

Does the F8 support Poly WAV and Mono/Stereo WAV? And, Can I set different recording file format for two SD cards?

The F8 supports both of Poly WAV and Mono/Stereo WAV formats, and two SD cards can be set to different recording file formats. The settings WAV and MP3 in recording file format for two SD cards for example.

Can I feed the tone signal and slate mic signal to the isolate track and/or direct output?

Yes you can.

Does the F8 support not only 48V phantom power but also 12V?

Yes. The F8 supports also 12V phantom power.

Are V mount batteries and NP type batteries available?

The F8 supports batteries in 9-16V with HIROSE connector.

Can I use power save function when all the batteries ran out?

The F8 doesn't have power save function. Please check battery reaming frequently, and please change to new batteries as soon as possible when the battery remaining was in red in the display.

What power sources are available for the F8?

Please use alkaline batteries, Nickel-Metal Hydride (NiMH) batteries, or lithium dry cell, and please set up "Power Source" correctly when you change the type of batteries.

Can I record retroactively in time?

Yes you can. By setting up Pre Record function, you can record up to six seconds before you press the record button.
